Navistar Buses Recalled over Overheating Issues
Navistar has recalled the models year 2005-2011 International 3200IM and 2007-2011 IC Bus Model HC vehicles produced between August 16th 2004 and May 13th 2010. In accordance with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there’s a great risk of property damage linked to the fact the brakes these buses are equipped with can overheat.
These faulty brakes can drag and pose a severe fire hazard to drivers. The repairing services will be performed free of charge by Navistar dealerships, so if you own one of the recalled items, contact the company immediately.
As a Seattle injury lawyer, I’m glad that no reports of accidents caused by these overheating vehicles have surfaced so far and hope the company will be successful in fixing all the recalled items before any accident occurs.
I’m glad this vehicle manufacturer was able to understand that the safety of their vehicle owners should always be a priority. Whenever you’re involved in an accident caused by a vehicle that has been recalled, ask personal injury lawyers about your case: you might be entitled to a monetary compensation because of the injuries you suffered.
